Hidden Paradise is a central Indiana gem that I am so glad we found!

Hidden Paradise located just southeast of Shelbyville on I-74 in Saint Paul, IN,  is a family campground that has everything you need for a fun-filled vacation. The 80-acre property has been accommodating campers since 1988 and boasts a memorable stone quarry-turned-lake for swimming among a floating trampoline, slide, log roll, and other aquatic amusements.

Hidden Paradise offers biking and hiking trails, fishing, tubing, canoeing and kayaking in the beautiful, meandering Flat Rock River. Within walking distance (or a golf cart drive- which are available for rental) is a playground, picnic areas, and a general store providing odds and ends that may have been forgotten at home. Multiple lodging options are available including cabins, rv pull throughs, primitive and non-primitive camp sites.

I loved getting to know some of the campers and finding that not only is Hidden Paradise perfect for families but also young adults looking for a weekend getaway where they can disconnect from a hectic schedule, jump on an inner tube, float down Flat Rock River and soak up the beautiful scenery. Then, wind down back at the campsite and grill some goodies over a crackling fire.
