This was a day of firsts for me. First time working with the IN the loop TV show, my first Man on the Street and my first time at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.  Clearly I had my work cut out for me, but who wouldn’t be excited about such an adventurous morning?

I had to make sure to live up to the expecations of previous trackside segments and see just what made the Crown Royal Presents the Jeff Kyle 400 at the Brickyard a must-attend event in Indianapolis.

If you have been to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway,  you will know that there is a lot to see and do. Most of the action was at the car inspection area. Many of the NASCAR fans, young or old, stood on the sidelines watching the cars of their favorite drivers go through the vigorous process of the first phase of qualifications -inspection.

They talked to me about everything, from who they want to win, sharing advice on what to eat at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and what experiences I couldn’t miss, since it was my first time at the track.  Not one to back down from a challenge, I made sure to head to as many of their suggestions as possible. The fan zone, the midway, the pagoda were all stops on my Brickyard trail. My personal favorite was the “Mad Max Fury Road picture area, where they had a car for you sit in.   People dressed up as Mad Max characters, and costume pieces to put on. Made for a great laugh.

The cars, the food, the drinks, activities, and the fans made my first time at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway a moment to remember. But before I left the track I had one thing left to do. I had to try the famous and suggested Brickyard Tenderloin. Let me tell you, it was delicious.  Like my time at the Jeff Kyle 400 at the Brickyard, my taste buds were quite satisfied with the experience.

If you missed the segment on IN the Loop about The Crown Royal Presents the Jeff Kyle 400 at the Brickyard check out the video below.  And don’t forget to watch me, Noah Winston, every Sunday night at 11:30 on WISH-TV 8.  Keeping you IN the Loop of everything that is Indianapolis.
