PART A – GENERAL TERMS

  1. Information of how to enter In The Loop’s video audition and prize details form part of these terms and conditions of entry.

  2. Participation in the Video Audition constitutes acceptance of these conditions of entry.  Entries must comply with these conditions of entry to be valid.

PART B – PROMOTER’S DETAILS

  1. The Promoter is Relativity Pty Ltd (ABN 2810 6259 741) of 77 Kenny Street Wollongong, NSW 2500 (Promoter).

PART C – WHO CAN ENTER

  1. Entry is open to all NSW residents over the age of 18.

  2. Employees of the Promoter or the Promoter’s associated agencies, or companies directly involved in the Competition and their immediate family members are ineligible to enter.

PART D – HOW TO ENTER

  1. The competition period commences on Wednesday 19th August 2015 at 10am (AEDST) and closes on Friday 28th August 2015 at 11:59pm (AEDST) (Competition Period).

  2. To audition,  entrants must:

  1. Visit the In The Loop Facebook page. ‘Like’ the page and click on the video audition post to take the entrant to the audition entry page;

  2. Correctly complete and submit the online entry form, including the acceptance of the terms and conditions of entry and all required information;

  3. Create a video audition saying who they are, why they want to host In The Loop and what their favourite thing about Wollongong or the South Coast

  4. Submit  their video to the team at In The Loop via an approved method.

  5. Entrants are limited to one ‘single’ entry per person.

  6. Entrant videos will be hosted on the In The Loop YouTube Channel as well as promoted on the In The Loop Facebook page.

  7. The Promoter, its agents, affiliates or representatives will not be liable for any lost, late or misdirected entries for the video audition.

  8. Entries not completed in accordance with these terms and conditions, and any incomplete or indecipherable entries, will be deemed invalid.

PART E – HOW TO WIN

    1. The promoter will select a short list of finalist entries;

    2. The Entries that receives the highest number of votes from the In The Loop creative team will be selected for a live audition.

    3. The entry with the most likes on In The Loop YouTube page will win the popular vote and will be awarded a prize TBD

    4. There will be two (2) winners selected (male and female) from the live audition process.

    5. Final entries close 11:59pm on Friday 28th August, 2015.

  1. The finalists of the live auditions will be notified by phone, or email on the 7th of September 2015, after the date of the competition period. At that time they must confirm they are available for the live audition round, date TBC.

  2. The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of the Competition is final and binding and the Promoter will not enter into any correspondence regarding the result, including in the event of a dispute.

  3. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age, and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

  4. It is a condition of entry that:

    1. Entrants agree that In The Loop can edit entries for length & clarity and promotional purposes as well as adding the In The Loop branding to the beginning and end of entries

    2. That In the Loop may upload their entry to the In The Loop Facebook and YouTube pages.

    3. That In the Loop may use their video in promotional material for the show for up to twelve (12) months from close of entries

    4. That finalists videos may remain on the In The Loop YouTube channel for the duration of the shows production.

    5. Entries must comply with YouTubes Community Guidelines http://www.youtube.com/yt/policyandsafety/communityguidelines.html

    6. Videos must be G rated. Entries which do not comply will be disqualified.

    7. Finalist must be available on the date of live auditions (TBC)

    8. Should an entrant’s details change during the Competition Period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoter.

PART 5 - EMPLOYMENT DETAILS:

  • The position as a host on In The Loop is a paid position

  • Payment amount will be negotiated before commencement of production

PART I – NO LIABILITY

  1. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies assume no responsibility for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by an entrant or due to any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in the Competition, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of the Competition including any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.

  2. If for any reason, the Competition is not capable of running as planned (including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition), the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant who undermines the fairness of the competition (by, for example, tampering with, or using or exploiting errors in, the entry process to obtain a competitive advantage over other entrants), to take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, subject to any direction given under state regulations, or any written directions given by a relevant regulatory authority.

  3. Once the prize has left the Promoter’s premises, the Promoter and its associated agencies take no responsibility for the prize being damaged, stolen or lost.

  4. The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these terms and conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Competition. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.

  5. As YouTube is not a promoter or sponsor of this audition process YouTube can not be held liable for any breaches

PART J – PRIVACY CONSENT

  1. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Competition, to assist in providing the products or services an entrant has requested (if any), and to improve its products and services. The Promoter or any of its related companies may use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, and may be in touch by any means (including telephone, email or SMS) at any time to let you know about products, services or promotional activities which may be of interest to you until you inform the Promoter otherwise.

  2. The Promoter may also share your information with other persons or entities who assist it in providing its products or services or running competitions or trade promotions (including administering the competition or trade promotion or distributing prizes). The Promoter may also disclose your personal information in accordance with these terms and conditions if you are the prize winner, and as required, to Australian regulatory authorities.

The Promoter is bound by the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), and by participating in the Competition, each participant is taken to consent to its privacy policy. Participants should direct any request to access, update or correct personal information to the Promoter.
